DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Broncos are announcing more than just a new quarterback this upcoming season. This month, the team will also unveil new threads to Broncos Country.

Major changes for the Broncos

The team has gone through some major changes since last season.

Not only did the team release quarterback Russell Wilson, but it also took a $53 million dead cap hit upon Wilson’s departure.

The Broncos have also restructured many spots on the team, like trading wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and signing former Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds.

Going into next season, the team is also getting a new look.

Broncos’ new look

The Broncos teased a new uniform in late March. The team posted a short video on X with the caption “New threads” and a video of the mane of the Broncos logo being stitched onto an orange background.

Following the first uniform tease, the Broncos finally announced the uniform release date.

On Tuesday, the Broncos posted on X to “Mark your calendars.” Alongside the caption is a picture saying the uniform will be released on April 22.

This is the second wardrobe transformation for the Broncos within a year. The Broncos debuted its “snowcapped” helmets during a game in October.

While the team hasn’t given any indication of the new design of the uniform, some fans are hoping it resembles the “Orange Crush” uniforms from the 1980s.
