Alaina Tomesh grew up in Rice Lake, Wisconsin and is serving as a News Intern for the Fall 2023 semester while attending college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
After graduating high school in 2021, she moved to Lincoln and became a broadcasting student at UNL. Currently a junior, she's involved heavily at the college of journalism and the student-run news show, Nebraska Nightly.
Outside of Nebraska, Alaina was an intern at WCCO CBS News Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN during the summer of 2023.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing piano, and shopping!
Alaina is excited to work with everyone at 10/11 and improve her skills as a reporter.
