**Eminem adopted niece Alaina Mathers, the daughter of his ex-wife Kimberly Anne Scott sister Dawn, when she was a youngster.**

Hitmaker Eminem's eldest daughter Alaina Mathers likes to keep a low profile life. The 27-year-old and her sister Whitney were adopted by Lose Yourself singer Eminem - real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III - back in the 90s. Alaina is biologically the rapper's niece as her real mum is Dawn Scott - the twin sister of Eminem's ex-wife Kimberly Anne Scott. It is reported that the singer-songwriter adopted Alaina while Kim, who later died in 2015, was undergoing treatment for drug addiction and in his music he has referenced the young woman by her nickname, Lainey. Alaina, born on May 3, 1993, grew up alongside the musician's famous daughter Hailie and speaking fondly of Alaina in 2004, Eminem told Rolling Stone: “My niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born. Me and Kim pretty much had her, she'd live with us wherever we was at."

Alaina calls Eminem uncle and he referenced this in his hit Mockingbird. Giving an insight into their family life, he sang: "Lainey, uncle's crazy ain't he, yeah but he loves you girl and you better know it."

Later in the song, he remarked that the two girls - Alaina and his biological daughter Hailee - are "pretty much sisters now," as he continued "And Daddy's still here, Laney I'm talking to you too, Daddy's still here. I like the sound of that, yeah, it's got a ring to it, don't it?"

And by taking a look at Alaina's glossy social media page it is easy to see that she is happy with a wholesome life alongside her doting boyfriend Matt Moeller. Eminem does not star on Alaina's profile and she describes in her bio: "dog mama to snoop & cooper body positivity + women empowering women real-life ft real photos #nophotoshop."

Proving Alaina - who studied Public Relations at the University of Oakland and graduated on April 27, 2017 - and beau Matt receive lots of invitations to weddings, Alaina has posted a number of glamorous snaps of the couple posing in formal ensembles as they attend the nuptials of pals. Alaina often showers praise on her partner with gushing tributes.

Alaina's two dogs, Snoop and Cooper, also feature heavily on her Instagram grid and it is obvious that she loved to travel due to the gallery holding snaps from her trips.
