Joyce Kathleen Proffitt Barros OBITUARY

Joyce Kathleen Proffitt Barros of San Lorenzo, California, died unexpectedly on February 9th, 2024, at the age of 72. She is survived by Keith Barros, her husband of 52 years, as well as her daughter Kimberly, son-in-law Erik, granddaughter Gigi, sisters Judy and Janeen, and brother James. Joyce will always be remembered for her unparalleled warmth and ability to make people feel loved.There will be a viewing on Monday, February 26th from 3pm to 7pm at Grissom’s Chapel located at 267 E. Lewelling Blvd. in San Lorenzo. A funeral service will be held in Joyce’s honor at Grissom’s on Tuesday, February 27 at 11am, followed by interment at Chapel Of The Chimes, located at 32992 Mission Blvd. in Hayward. A reception celebrating Joyce’s life will follow, beginning at 1pm at the San Lorenzo Village Homes Association Hall, located at 377 Paseo Grande, San Lorenzo.
