Watch Rebel Moon — Part 1: A Child of Fire made its debut on Netflix last December. Zack Snyder's space opera didn't get the positive reception the creators were surely hoping for. But Netflix and Snyder aren't giving up and in addition to the second installment, there are still director's versions of both films pending, which are expected to expand the story with a lot of additional material and perhaps they’ll fix the problems that occurred in the first one. For now, however, we don't know when they will be made available, but let's focus on the film Rebel Moon — Part 2: The Scargiver and its release.

The second part will finally debut this week. When exactly? Rebel Moon 2 is scheduled for release on April 19, so we are only a few days away from it. On Friday, we will find out how the fate of Kora, the farmers and warriors she managed to gather to face the Motherworld will unfold next.

As Zack Snyder announced, part one was an entry to the story that introduced us to the heroes, and the second part is a full-on war movie, filled to the brim with battles that will be fought on the Veldt. The group of heroes in the first film suffered a few losses, so the number of warriors who came to the moon inhabited by farmers is somewhat reduced, but as we learned from the trailer, the villagers, trained by Kora's companions, will also stand up to fight.

Rebel Moon — Part 1: A Child of Fire at Rotten Tomatoes has 21% positive ratings from critics and 57% from viewers.
