Woman critically injured in golf cart rollover near Litchfield Park
Deputies believe alcohol was a factor in the crash
LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ (AZFamily) — A woman is hospitalized in critical condition after a golf cart she was driving rolled over early Saturday morning near Litchfield Park.
Just after midnight, Maricopa County sheriff’s deputies responded to the intersection of Dysart Road and Sonoma Drive, just south of Camelback Road. There, they found a golf cart that had rolled over and an unresponsive woman lying on the roadway.
MCSO says she was taken to the hospital with a life-threatening head injury. Her current condition is unknown.
No other vehicles were involved, and no one else was hurt. Investigators believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.
