Michigan State baseball gets swept on the road at Purdue

Michigan State baseball went on the road to continue Big Ten play in West Lafayette, Indiana, for a three game series against Purdue. Unfortunately for the Spartans, the weekend went far from planned.

MSU was swept at the hands of Purdue, losing the three games 7-2, 14-0 and 21-1, in very disappointing fashion.

With the losses, MSU drops to 14-19 on the season, while falling to 3-6 in conference play.

Michigan State will take on Western Michigan on Wednesday at Lansing’s Jackson Field, before continuing Big Ten play at home against Penn State next weekend.
