Joe’s Pizza on Jamaica Avenue at 95th Street is the neighborhood spot by the Woodhaven Boulevard J train stop.

The crew is happy to welcome new and old customers.

Woodhaven Business Improvement District Executive Director John Perricone said customers will find special deals at participating restaurants.

It’s designed to promote the commercial strip to neighbors, commuters and visitors.

“Our vacancy rate is not as high as other parts of the city. We are always working to promote the area,” Perricone said.

Caraotas is a Venezuelan fusion restaurant at the corner of 92nd Street and Jamaica Avenue. They opened four months ago.

Andy Vasquez said Latin flavors, American classics, vegan meals and milkshakes are on the menu.

“I’m glad to be a part of the community,” Vasquez said.

Pamela was picking up one of her regular lunch favorites.

“Everything is good. I come here all the time because I work right across the street,” she said.

The promotion runs through April 21.
