TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Cars are moving again on Interstate 10 eastbound after a truck fire caused nearly an hour-long backup.

Florida 511 traffic cameras showed bright orange flames and a massive dark plume of smoke rising from a semitruck near mile marker 229 Monday in Jefferson County. The fire started just before 2:45 p.m. Monday and completely engulfed a semitruck, according to FHP.

At about 3:45 p.m., authorities were able to get traffic moving again and extinguish the fire.

No one was injured in the blaze, according to an FHP spokesperson. She said troopers worked with the Jefferson County Fire Department to put out the flames and investigate its cause.
