MANILA, Philippines: Erwin "Jojo" Erfe, current director of the Forensics Laboratory Division (FLD) of the Public Attorney's Office (PAO), on Wednesday welcomed President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s appointment as the agency's new deputy chief.

"My appointment to a full time government post is not only a turning point in my career in public service," Erfe, 58, told The Manila Times.
