Man arrested in connection with fatal Avondale shooting Monday morning

One man is dead and another is under arrest after a shooting Monday morning in Avondale, according to a news release from Cincinnati police.

First responders were called to the 2600 block of Reading Road at 10:12 a.m. and found Marcus Jamison, 33, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Jamison was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

At 2:41 p.m., police arrested Lashannon Hill, 45, in connection with Jamison's death.
