ODOT: Traffic restrictions on I-70, Underwood Street and Old Newark Road this week

ZANESVILLE − The Ohio Department of Transportation is continuing full-depth replacement of Interstate 70 through Zanesville from U.S. 40 to Ohio 93.

The eastbound driving lane of I-70 will be closed from 8 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday for the Underwood bridge deck pour. All ramps to Downtown Zanesville will be closed, except for the ramps at U.S. 40 and Ohio 93.

Motorists can expect lane closures from 8 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday on Underwood Street. The eastbound driving lane will be closed from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Thursday for the beam erection.

Old Newark Road will be closed from noon Tuesday to that Saturday for beam erection. The eastbound driving lane of I-70 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily from Tuesday to Thursday for the beam erection. The Seventh Street off-ramp will be only accessible from the State Street on-ramp. The State Street on-ramp will be closed with all other ramps open.
