The total solar eclipse is happening on Monday. Do you know when it will be viewable in your city?

Here's a list of several cities across the state where the eclipse will be viewable in totality, when the partial eclipse begins in those cities, when totality begins and when the partial eclipse ends.

How long will the eclipse be viewable from Arlington?

According to Eclipse 2024.org, the partial eclipse begins in Arlington at 12:42 p.m. CDT. Totality begins at 3 p.m. and will last for a minute and five seconds. The partial eclipse will end at 3:19 p.m.

How long will the eclipse be viewable from Bardwell?

The partial eclipse starts at 12:42 p.m. CDT in Bardwell. Totality begins at 1:59 p.m. lasts for close to a minute and 55 seconds, beginning slightly before 3 p.m. At 3:19 p.m. the partial eclipse will end.

How long will the eclipse be viewable from Barlow?

In Barlow, the partial eclipse begins at 12:41 p.m. CDT. with totality starting at 1:59 p.m. and lasting almost three minutes. The partial eclipse ends at 3:19 p.m.

How long will the eclipse be viewable from Camelia?

The partial eclipse starts at 12:42 p.m. CDT with totality starting at 2 p.m. The duration of totality is close to two minutes. The partial eclipse will be over at 3:19 p.m.

Louisville is not on the path of totality and likely won't experience the same effects as those on the path. The partial eclipse will be viewable from 1:48 p.m. EST to 4:25 p.m. and the peak totality is set for 3:07 p.m.
