Slash to bring new concert festival to Booth Amphitheatre

The festival will include performances from Slash, Larkin Poe, ZZ Ward and Robert Randolph. It is billed as "a celebration of the blues."

CARY, N.C. — Guitar legend Slash is bringing his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival to Booth Amphitheatre in Cary on Aug. 7, the venue announced Tuesday.

S.E.R.P.E.N.T. is an anagram and stands for Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance.

The festival will include performances from Slash, Larkin Poe, ZZ Ward and Robert Randolph. It is billed as "a celebration of the blues."

Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 15 at 10 a.m. Booth Amphitheatre will have a special online presale on March 14 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The festival tour will kick off in July in Montana and wrap up in Texas on Aug. 17.

S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival will be donating $1 per ticket to support organizations dedicated to advancing justice, equity, and the well-being of communities around the world.
