Music at Bethel series continues with flutist Mary Stolper

Renowned Elmhurst flutist Mary Stolper, accompanied by pianist Jeffrey Panko, will return to Bethel United Church of Christ for an unprecedented fifth appearance in the church's “Music@Bethel” concert series.

In this concert, she will present a wide variety of music from J.S. Bach, a transcription of Zez Confrey's “Dizzy Fingers” to an Astor Piazzolla tango.

It will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at Bethel United Church of Christ, 315 E. St. Charles Road in Elmhurst.

Stolper’s talents have been showcased as first flutist for the Grant Park and Chicago Symphony orchestras, as soloist, collaborative artist and also as a master teacher.

Tickets are $25 for general admission or $35 for premium seating. It free for students. A wine reception will follow the concert.
