“Due to the nature of the potential criminal complaint, the matter was immediately referred to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office for investigation,” Smetana said. Gildenstern was placed on leave.
Smetana said the allegations against Gildenstern “are troubling and obviously contrary to the conduct we expect from all of our employees.”
Smetana said the the Pleasant Prairie Police Department is cooperating fully with the investigation.
