BOONE — The first few weeks of the Watauga County Farmers Market have been successful despite cold and windy weather on opening day.
Market Director Michelle Dineen said that they weren’t sure what to expect with such low temperatures predicted in the weather forecast for the morning of the opening Market, “but the sun came out, and our Opening Day ended up being a great success.”
