IT'S A QUIET NIGHT HERE IN NEW OXFORD BUT IT WAS A VERY DIFFFERENT SCENE JUST A FEW HOURS AGO AFTER POLICE SHUT DOWN THIS WHOLE AREA SURROUNDING THE ACNB BANK I WANT YOU TO TAKE A LOOK AT THIS FOOTAGE RIGHT HERE THIS WAS FROM EARLIER IN THE EVENING WHEN AUTHORTIES HAD ALL OF THIS BLOCKED OFF According to New Oxford police - authorities were dispatched at 4:43 THIS afternoon for a suspicious package left at ACNB bank on the corner of York and Billerbeck rd. Once police arrived they evacuated the bank and shut down surrounding streets. New Oxford police said they were called around 4:43 p.m. Thursday for a suspicious package left at ACNB Bank on Lincoln Highway East.

The bank was evacuated, and surrounding streets were shut down.

Police said it turned out to be a false alarm.

No one was taken into custody, and no charges will be filed.
