Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard will return to the floor for Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors after being sidelined with an adductor strain, according to TNT Sports' Chris Haynes.

The eight-time All-Star and seven-time All-NBA player has averaged 24.4 points and 7.1 assists in his first season with the Bucks, who acquired him in September via trade from the Portland Trail Blazers.

Lillard's partnership with Giannis Antetokounmpo hasn't quite worked out as expected with Milwaukee sitting 13 games back of the first-place Boston Celtics in second. The team is coming off losses to the lowly Washington Wizards and a short-handed Memphis Grizzlies squad.

The positive bump the Bucks were expecting after hiring Doc Rivers as head coach hasn't materialized. Because of that, it's important Lillard and Antetokounmpo get as much time on the court together before the postseason tips off.
