EDDY COUNTY, N.M. — The Eddy County Sheriff's Office and National Park Service conducted an investigation Friday at the Yucca Canyon Trail, which prompted its closure. According to Eddy County SO Friday night, they believe they found human remains on the trail.
According to Eddy County Chief Deputy Matthew Hutchinson, the trail head is now back open.
This incident is still being investigated by Eddy County SO's Detective Division.
