ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor is expanding the boundaries of the city’s greenbelt district for the third time in the program’s history going back over 20 years.
City Council voted 8-0 on April 1 to give final approval to ordinance changes allowing the greenbelt program to start protecting farmland and natural areas in parts of Ypsilanti Township for the first time, as well as more parts of the Huron River watershed upstream of Ann Arbor.
