Centralia announced changes to its athletics program Thursday afternoon. "I am thrilled about the chance to take on a leadership role within a program that has been integral to my life journey," said Thall in a release by the Panthers activities department via X. "Over the past eight years, I've been fortunate to actively contribute to the CHS basketball program. I look forward to the opportunity to further influence the development of young athletes, both on the basketball court and baseball field."

Centralia also announced that Josh Lancaster will become the new activities director for the high school. Lancaster served this past season as a varsity assistant and head junior varsity coach to the basketball team.

"I am excited and humbled about this opportunity to serve our students, coaches/sponsors/directors, parents, and community," said Lancaster in a release by the Panthers activities department via X. "Coming to the Centralia school district 6 years ago was one of the best professional decisions of my career, but it was also a great decision for our family. We love being a part of the Centralia community, our daughters love being Panthers, and we are proud to be able to call this community home."
