Darnall stabbing: Man charged with attempted murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a 21-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the Darnall area off Sheffield.

The victim suffered serious injuries after being attacked on Staniforth Road on Tuesday.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition, South Yorkshire Police said.

A 28-year-old man appeared Sheffield Magistrates' Court on Friday charged with attempted murder.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 10 May.
