Kelly Osbourne Says Dad Ozzy Osbourne Has Never Been 'Afforded Medical Privacy' amid Parkinson’s Battle

“They wait for him to go into the doctor’s office and take pictures,” she said

Kelly Osbourne is criticizing how public her dad Ozzy Osbourne’s health battles have been over the years.

During the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast, the 39-year-old opened up about Kate Middleton’s recent cancer diagnosis and the conspiracy theories and rumors that flooded social media before the news was made public.

While doing so, she commented on how similarly, her father hasn’t been able to get any privacy amid his ongoing battle with Parkinson's disease.

“This brings up a wider point. Medical privacy, I think, is really really important and everyone deserves [it],” Kelly said. “And I don’t feel as though dad has ever been afforded his medical privacy throughout this whole time.”

“They wait for him to go into the doctor’s office and take pictures,” she added.

Sharon Osbourne, 71, then chimed in and recalled an incident just a week ago where she was taking her husband to a doctor’s appointment and she screamed at a man following them.

“I lost my cool with the guy," she said. "And I never usually do with photographers but we were in an underground car park and he followed us in, watched us, the big cameras came out and I just said, ‘Leave him some dignity, would you? F— off!’ And he didn’t and I just said, ‘Shame on you. What do you want? He’s going to see his doctor.’”

Ozzy, 75, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2003. And following his fourth spinal surgery in September 2023, the Black Sabbath rocker has been focused on his health and mobility.

During another episode of his family’s podcast, Ozzy noted that the numerous surgeries were taking a toll on him.

"Tomorrow I have my final surgery on my neck,” he said at the time. “Which it is gonna be the final surgery because I can't do it anymore. Regardless of the way it ends up after tomorrow, I'm not doing it anymore. I can't."

“My feet feel like I've got bricks tied to them when I'm walking,” he admitted. “I walked upstairs today and downstairs for the first time in a while, and my feet feel like I've got diving boots on when I'm walking. I think it's the nerves… Then I was thinking, maybe I just need to get up off my ass and walk around the block a few times."

The "Crazy Train" singer also told critics to “f--- off” when it comes to his recent health battles, assuring that “I’m far from being on my last leg.”

Ozzy has since been doing tai chi to help with symptoms of the disease.

“It's the balance that helps me. Well, I want to get back, you know, and all the options are open for me,” he explained back in October. “I’ve only had two lessons so I’m not really a master yet. But I’m finally relaxing.”
