Former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is sending his condolences to Slidell after their community was ravaged by a tornado Wednesday. Brees was in New Orleans Thursday morning to make an appearance during Today Show hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Haeger's fifth anniversary show. Brees spoke with WDSU where he shared his support for Slidell as they continue recovery efforts. "I hope everyone is okay from the storms and tornadoes yesterday," Brees said. "I know that created some havoc, especially in Slidell. Brees has two restaurants in Slidell from his Walks Ons and Small Slider franchises.
