CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – It has been a pretty wet March so far in western Massachusetts.

At Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee on average there is about 3.5 inches of rain during the month of March, so far there has been up to 5.35 inches of rain, that’s a surplus of almost 2 inches of rain.

There is more rain on the way into the end of the month especially Wednesday night into Thursday with up to around an inch of rain.

The 6 to 10 day precipitation outlook into April, is calling for wetter-than-average conditions across the eastern part of the country including Massachusetts.
