Three Mississippi players drafted in WNBA

NEW YORK (WTVA) — Three college basketball players from Mississippi heard their names called Monday evening, April 15 during the WNBA Draft.

The New York Liberty drafted Marquesha Davis of Ole Miss with the 11th overall pick and Jessika Carter of Mississippi State with the 23rd overall pick.

The Las Vegas Aces drafted Angel Jackson of Jackson State with the 36th overall pick.

The Los Angeles Sparks drafted Rickea Jackson of Tennessee with the fourth overall pick. Jackson played at Mississippi State from 2019-2021.
