NEW HARTFORD — Slocum-Dickson Medical Group has announced the addition of Dr. Matthew Mittiga to its pediatric department.
Mittiga welcomes patients 18 years and younger for health and medical care. He specializes in gastrointestinal issues, developmental disorders, and nutritional health among other issues, according to the announcement by Slocum-Dickson officials.
Mittiga helps families understand their children’s health, the announcement said, adding that he is advanced in the Spanish language, the announcement added.
Mittiga completed his pediatric residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and obtained his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Utica University.
