FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer announced Monday that registration for Camp Fresno is now open.

Writing on social media, Dyer said Fresno children can find a summer of adventure, exploration, hiking trails and new friendships.

According to the City of Fresno, Camp Fresno is designed to provide children with a fun experience in the great outdoors.

The camp offers activities, fun and games, creative arts and crafts, group activities, free meals and transportation. The website says people can choose from the day camps that feature round-trip visits, or overnight camps, where campers can extend the adventure with one of two-night stays.

Camp Fresno is completely free of charge. For more information, visit the City of Fresno’s website.
