It's officially time to horse around.

Warm Springs Ranch, the 300-plus acre farm where Budweiser Clydesdales are bred and nurtured, will open its 2024 season on Saturday. Located in Boonville, Warm Springs is home to more than 70 horses.

This spring, the farm will offer two new tours among several returning experiences. The new offerings are Becoming a King: Hitch Journey, which goes beyond simply seeing these horses in their earliest environment to imagine where life will take them. The experience is designed to help visitors "learn about life on the road for Clydesdales and their handlers," according to a news release.

Becoming a King goes behind the scenes to exhibit and explain training practices and equipment, and allows visitors to "hold the lines in the interactive driving simulator and get an up-close and personal experience to groom a hitch gelding." Tickets are $50.

Over Mother's Day weekend, May Mane Event: Spring Training will consider training and preparation from another angle. The event features a "gelding training hitch demonstration," time spent with the vehicles that transport these horses from place to place — and, of course, time with the horses themselves. The Warm Springs grounds will also welcome food trucks and live music. Tickets are $30.

Several tour experiences return this spring, including History and Horses, Cruising with the Clydesdales and Wheels & Reins Excursion. For more information and ticket prices on all these events, visit warmspringsranch.com.
