A man and woman killed in two-car crash Wednesday in Glasgow are identified by police

A man and woman killed in a two-car crash Wednesday night in Glasgow have been identified by Delaware State Police.

The woman has been identified as 57-year-old Ralene Commodore. The man has been identified as 38-year-old Roger Stanford.

Both were from the Newark area, police said.

Commodore was driving a Nissan on Wrangle Hill Road, when she tried to turn onto Mabel Lane and collided with a BMW 335 traveling in the opposite direction on Wrangle Hill Road.

Commodore was pronounced dead at the scene, as was Stanford, who was her passenger. Police said Stanford was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash that took place about 10:10 p.m.

The BMW's 38-year-old driver, a Middletown man, was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, but police said he survived the incident. He was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Police continue to investigate the crash and ask anyone who witnessed it to contact investigators at (302) 365-8484. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook Message to Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) 847-3333.
