Full List of Celebrities Supporting Joe Biden Over Donald Trump

With just seven months to go before the 2024 presidential election, celebrities are throwing their weight behind President Joe Biden and presumptive Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump.

Biden had plenty of celebrity supporters during his last run for president in 2020, including Tom Hanks, Jennifer Hudson, Zooey Deschanel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

However, some big names have since turned their back on Biden, with his Israel policy and budget plan dividing his famous fans.

With the candidates hitting the campaign trail once again, here are the celebs still backing Biden.

Barack Obama

Former President Barack Obama is supporting Biden, who served as his vice president during two terms in the White House.

Obama, along with former President Bill Clinton, attended a fundraiser for Biden in New York on March 29, helping to generate over $26 million in donations. Speaking at the Radio City Music Hall, Obama praised the former VP while calling Trump's policies "a little old and out of shape."

"Stay with what works," Obama told the audience, dubbing Biden the "kind of president I want."

Jeffrey Katzenberg

Hollywood hotshot Jeffrey Katzenberg, who previously helmed Walt Disney Studios and Warner Bros, joined Biden's 2024 campaign as a national co-chair. The 73-year-old billionaire aims to jazz up the president's image.

Katzenberg told the Financial Times in May 2023 that he'll provide "all the resources" Biden needs to win a second time around, donating $889,600 to his campaign in July.

Hillary Clinton

Former presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton held a fundraiser for Biden on Wednesday alongside Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda. During a preview of the upcoming Broadway show Suffs, the 76-year-old former secretary of state urged attendees to support the Democratic incumbent.

Clinton is co-producing Suffs, the new musical about the Suffragists and thanked guests at the event for "supporting our democracy."

She said, "All of us have to come out of this theater with the same enthusiasm for voting that it takes to actually make that kind of progress."

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga endorsed Biden in 2020 and performed at his inauguration in 2021.

Although the singer and actress, whose real name is Stefanie Germanotta, hasn't confirmed who she'll be voting for in 2024, she was appointed co-chair of the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities in April 2023, making her an adviser to Biden.

Lin-Manuel Miranda

Lin-Manual Miranda's recent fundraiser with Clinton was the second event he's hosted for Biden. In September, the actor and singer organized "Broadway for Biden" to raise money for the president's 2024 run.

The concert starred Tony Award winners Leslie Odom, Jr., Laura Benanti, and Josh Groban, among others. Tickets cost between $250 and $7,500.

The 44-year-old has also financially contributed to Biden's campaign, donating $20,000 last summer.

Seth MacFarlane

Another star with deep pockets, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has donated $100,000 to Biden's 2024 campaign. A long-time Democrat, MacFarlane also previously contributed to Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders' bid for president.
