As the low continues to pull away from the region, some isolated snow showers are possible early this morning. There is still the chance for some spotty patches of drizzle this afternoon but expect a mostly dry day. Cloud cover will hang around for much of the day but gradually decrease through the afternoon and into tonight. Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with lows dropping into the mid to upper 20′s. High pressure will finally take back control of the weather overnight into Monday bringing the best chance for optimal viewing conditions for the eclipse. In addition to clear skies, Monday may actually be the warmest day of the year. Highs are forecast to reach the mid to upper 50′s with a few spots touching 60! Areas underneath the path of totality may experience a 3-5 temperatures drop as the moon completely block the sun.
