(MARYVILLE, Mo.) Northwest Missouri State University's (NWMSU) Master of Business Administration (MBA) online program is high ranking globally according to CEO Magazine's 2024 Global MBA Rankings. 

Since 2013, NWMSU has been featured in CEO Magazine's MBA Rankings, they are the only Missouri institution to be featured and their 2024 ranking is number 77 in the world. 

"Rankings are based on data submitted from schools offering MBA programs in 24 countries. Using a ranking system weighted on criteria that include quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty-to-school ratio, and professional development," according to CEO Magazine. 

NWMSU offers both in-person and online MBA programs as well as offering both a general MBA degree and a Specialized MBA degree. 

The specializations include Business Analytics, Human Resource Management, Management, and Marketing. 

Beginning in Fall 2024, NWMSU will start offering specializations in accounting, finance, geographic information systems (GIS), and healthcare administration. 

According to NWMSU, "for individuals with an undergraduate business degree, the MBA can be completed within 12 months."

The Director of NWMSU's Melvin D. and Valorie G. Booth School of Business and a professor of Business, Ben Blackford said, "Offering a wide range of MBA concentrations to help meet the professional goals and varied interests of students seeking to advance their careers – while needing the flexibility presented by an online program – continues to be an opportunity the Booth School of Business is proud to be able to provide."
