FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (Gray News) – Two brothers who were pulled from a burning house have died days after the April 10 fire, according to their father.

“Our heart aches because we want them here, but we have a strong hope knowing that we will see them again and will do our best to share their legacy of love, and joy and encouragement for everyone they met,” Jamey Brice wrote.

The two children were initially trapped inside when their home on Whetstone Manor Court in Clifton, Virginia, caught fire on April 10, according to the Fairfax County Fire Department.
