GEORGE Knight’s secret has finally been revealed in EastEnders tonight.
The pub landlord - who is played by actor Colin Salmon in the BBC soap - has been disappearing on and off for weeks.

Each time he has returned looking battered and bruised but has had an excuse each time.
However tonight the truth was finally revealed.
In tonight’s episode George was still reeling from the heartbreaking death of his mum Gloria.
She died last week after suffering a catastrophic heart attack after finally freeing herself of abusive husband Eddie when he was sent to prison for murder.

Tonight George received a call from his adopted dad from prison and he seemed genuinely devastated by Gloria’s death.
Asking George to visit him, Eddie asked about Gloria’s final moments.
But when he was told how Gloria was happy to have finally been freed from him - he turned.
In vile scenes, Eddie warned George that he wouldn’t be allowed near the funeral - and that he would ensure Gloria would be buried in their joint plot.

The bombshell rocked George and the former boxer left before heading out in a fury.
