Activist writes book about Louisville protesters' experiences after Breonna Taylor's death
A new book is looking back on the 2020 protests in Louisville following the death of Breonna Taylor.
Activist Aprile Hearn documented her experience demonstrating in "Ain't No Justice in this Town."
The book gives firsthand encounters of protesters in Jefferson Square Park, marching in the streets and interactions with police.
It is released just as the community observes the fourth anniversary of Taylor being shot and killed in her apartment by a Louisville Metro Police Department officer.
"I struggled with what to do after marching in the streets," said Hearn. "The book gave me a way to continue to elevate my voice and bring awareness to the fact that we cannot stop, we must keep going, we must continue demanding justice for Breonna Taylor."
"Ain't No Justice in this Town" is now available on Amazon and Hearn's website here.
