Man killed in three-vehicle crash in northwest Omaha

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was killed Wednesday night in a three-vehicle crash in northwest Omaha.

The crash happened at Fort Street and Interstate 680 around 11:40 p.m.

An eastbound Nissan Versa crashed into a Honda Accord that was turning left onto Fort Street from the I-680 off-ramp, police said.

Debris from the crash hit another vehicle, according to police.

The driver of the Honda, 29-year-old Samuel Rohl, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan, a 23-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said alcohol was a factor in the crash.  An investigation is ongoing.
