The victim in Tuesday’s fatal shooting in Gresham has been identified as the father of the alleged killer.
Joshua Conrad Heinrich, 46, died at a house in the 600 block of Southwest Linneman Court around 8:30 p.m., Gresham police officials said. The officers who responded found Heinrich dead at the scene, according to police officials.
Heinrich’s son, 19-year-old Myles Menefee, was arrested in connection with the killing and was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on Wednesday morning, according to jail records. He faces charges of murder in the second degree and unlawful use of a weapon, court records show.
Menefee is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
