Local casting company wants your dog for national ad

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Does your doggie have what it takes to be the next star of a national ad?

Some local theater chains offering $3 movies for your kids this summer

A Cleveland-based casting company that produces national commercials is holding a casting call for local dogs in May.

TRG Multimedia said, “We’re looking for four pups for an upcoming paid shoot during the week of May 6th.”

TRG Multimedia said it keeps the name of the client private until the casting calls, but owner Adam Wilde told FOX 8 News that previous photo shoots included flooring companies that show dogs knocking bowls over that don’t stain floors, dogs getting baths for plumbing ads and dog food brands — the list goes on.

“These are fun productions,” Wilde said. “We look for dogs that have the right feel for the client.”

Here are the types of dogs and qualities TRG is looking for, according to its social media page:

• Dog No. 1: Playful, friendly with kids, high energy but not a puppy, German short-haired or similar

• Dog No. 2: Spaniel, well-trained, able to knock something over, good with men and women

• Dog No. 3: Younger (six to nine months old), high energy, but can be away from owner

• Dog No. 4: Small, purebred, miniature poodle or similar; unique haircut is a plus

• All dogs must be good with people, children and know the basics of sit, stay, lay down and come.

“To apply, please email contactus@trgmultimedia.com with images of your furry friend(s!), contact information, and any conflicts for the week of May 6th. Submissions are due next Friday, April 19th,” TRG stated.
