A Baltimore man was arrested and is facing charges in connection to a murder from March, according to police.

Police say in reference to the homicide that occurred in the Western District on March 26, 2024, investigators have arrested 34-year-old Tony Dukes of Baltimore.

According to police, investigators learned that Dukes fatally shot and killed 28-year-old Eugene Fitzgerald while in the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police say on Monday, April 15, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Tony Dukes at 7:30 a.m., in the 4300 block of Liberty Heights Avenue.

Dukes was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with murder in the first degree.
