The actor, 56, is currently "enjoying his good health" after experiencing a health emergency a year ago, a source tells PEOPLE. A big part of the Oscar winner’s well-being, according to another insider, is Huckstepp, who “couldn’t be nicer or more perfect for him.” “Alyce is a sweetie, a great girl,” says the insider. Thanks in part to her, “Jamie is doing incredibly well.” First spotted in public together at a Malibu restaurant and confirmed as a couple in August 2023, Foxx and Huckstepp have kept their relationship out of the spotlight. In September, an actor on Foxx’s BetMGM commercial reported that Huckstepp was visiting on set and “seemed cozy” with the star.
