Swedish Ski Resort Hosts Inaugural '4x Snow Bike' Race

While mountain bike competitions generally take place on dirt, there has been a marked increase in creativity in recent years with the rise of snow bike races.

Watch Robin Wallner ride the course at the Snow Rhythm four cross race in Idre Fjall, Sweden below.

In this video, Wallner took a lap down the course. As loose as the riding was for just him, the race featured four riders at once. In those slick conditions, falls are commonplace. Even four cross, with the luxury of dirt, can lead to some serious carnage. Watch a compilation of chaos below.

In fact, Wallner suffered a fall early in the finals and ended up third.

Robin Wallner is a retired Swedish retired professional enduro racer who now acts as an ambassador for the sport. Wallner still races Electric Enduro World Cups.

He is also no stranger to reaching high speeds on snow. Watch Wallner bomb a mogul field and reach 100 kph below.
