Watsonville police said two 19-year-old men were arrested after shooting at two other people with a BB gun on Thursday morning. Officers responded to near 400 Rodriguez Street after 1:30 a.m. after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found two with BB gun wounds. Police said in a media release that witnesses saw two people, one in a ski mask, drive off in a white car. Offices then spotted the car driving recklessly and pulled it over near 100 Main Street. A BB gun and ski mask were located inside the car, said police. Guillermo Rodriguez Carrillo and Alejandro Mata were arrested and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail. The media release added that they are also suspected of shooting out several downtown business windows.
