OKC Thunder Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to Return Against Kings

The Oklahoma City Thunder will see Shai Gilgeous-Alexander return against the Kings while Jalen Williams is listed as questionable.

The Oklahoma City Thunder (53-25) has turned in a 5-5 record in their last ten games, including dropping three of their last four tilts, largely due to the absence of superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who has been nursing a quad injury.

Gilgeous-Alexander suffered the injury back on March 20 against the Utah Jazz. The OKC Thunder MVP candidate has missed six of Oklahoma City's last seven games his only cameo being a game-winner in Madison Square Garden.

The organization sent him back to Oklahoma City to rehab the injury and avoid deconditioning following Wednesday's game in Boston. Now, with the team back in Bricktown for the final four games of the regular season, Gilgeous-Alexander is set to return.

As the Oklahoma City Thunder release their initial injury report, the 25-year-old superstar is not on the report which means he will make his return to the hardwood on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings.

This is the first game of the last back-to-back set of the season and against a Kings team vying for postseason positioning. It is unclear if Gilgeous-Alexander will also be available for Wednesday's game against the Spurs. Though, Thunder bench boss Mark Daigneault will offer an update ahead of tip-off Tuesday.

Oklahoma City's rising star Jalen Williams is still listed on the injury report, tabbed as questionable with an ankle injury. Gordon Hayward, who left Friday's game in Indiana early, is still listed as out with Left Posterior Tibialis.

Otherwise, the Thunder are healthy with the only remaining players listed on the injury report being a trio of G League players, Adam Flagler, Ousmane Dieng and Olivier Sarr, as the OKC Blue get set to start the G League Finals on Tuesday in Maine.
