Joey Willis scored the game-winner in the second period and Andrew Oke made the lead stand up, shutting out Owen Sound in the third period for a 2-1 Saginaw Spirit win Monday.

The win at Owen Sound gives the Spirit a 3-0 lead in the best-of-7 series heading into a potential series-clinching game Wednesday at Owen Sound.
