Pleasant Plain Cardinal Seniors Elle Walker, Adi Fraase and Sophia Smith all signed their letters of intent during Pleasant Plains signing day this past week and all three of them have the same collegiate destination. They have played together during club and throughout their high school careers, and when it came to decision time, continuing their journey at Lincoln Land was a no-brainer for the trio.

"I was really excited because I have loved playing with them these past three and a half years and so I was just so excited that I am going to be able to continue playing with them," said Adi Fraase.

"I like playing with them I guess," said Elle Walker. "We just have a really good friendship and chemistry on the field together I'd say."

"It was less of figuring out we are playing together and more an oh my gosh I have to play with these two, there's no way I could say no at this point," said Sophia Smith.

The current Pleasant Plains Cardinals can keep their athletic careers going while staying in the community, something Adi Fraase said brings her a lot of pride.

"It actually means a lot because we will still be representing Plains and I'm sure that a bunch of the people in the community will still come out and support us," said Fraase. "So it's just so amazing being so close to home to where you can still see everyone and I am really excited that I don't have to do it alone and that I will be with these two."

Their head coach Greg Bryan added that these three seniors will certainly be missed and he sees the Loggers achieving big things with their incoming cardinal touch.

"They've been a staple for us for the last several years and they are very important to our team," said Bryan. "I love the fact that they are going together and I think it's going to make a difference in their culture and I think that moving forward Lincoln Land is going to have a lot of success and a lot of it is going to be because of these three young ladies."
