Tomas RodriguezA 54-year-old Lehigh Acres man is dead and a 53-year-old Lehigh Acres woman in serious condition after a car struck their motorcycle and fled the crash scene, authorities say.
The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. Thursday along 40th Street Southwest, near Rena Avenue South, in Lehigh Acres, according to a Florida Highway Patrol incident report.
Troopers said the dynamics of the crash remained under investigation Friday morning.
Authorities said the female passenger was taken to a hospital.
