EXCLUSIVE: King Charles sees his favourability rating skyrocket in a new exclusive poll by the Daily Express.

has secured a huge PR victory as in the last years, the Daily Express can reveal.

In an exclusive IPSOS poll of 1,098 people for the Daily Express,  from March 2018 to March 2024.

Asked about of King Charles, 49 percent of Brits admitted they hold a positive opinion of the monarch, compared to around 30 percent who said so in March 2018.

Meanwhile, Charles also saw his unfavourability decrease in the last six years, with 21 percent of people saying they hold a negative opinion of him, compared to around 30 percent in March 2018.

And 27 percent said they neither hold a favourable nor unfavourable opinion about the King, whilst 2 percent said they "don't know".

Elsewhere, our poll revealed that 48 percent of us think Charles is doing a "good job" as King, with 36 percent being neutral and just 11 percent saying the monarch is doing a "bad job".

The rating saw a slight increase during the King's Coronation last May (53 percent) before falling to 51 percent back in January and 48 percent this March.

Compared to March 2018, when people were asked if then-Prince Charles would do a good job as King in the future, the rating (48 percent) has stayed the same.

It comes as King Charles undergoes treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer after his diagnosis early in February, following an enlarged prostate operation.

The monarch has taken time off public-facing duties as he battles his illness, however, he recently impressed royal fans when he showed up on Easter Sunday in Windsor and greeted them with handshakes.

Charles's prognosis so far has been a positive one, with the King adamant to carry on his 'business as usual approach'.

His plan is said to include embarking on a hefty fortnight tour in Australia later this year, after a "successful" start to his cancer treatment.
