Who is the best duo in the NBA?
The NBA is filled with some amazing duos - Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, Luke Doncic and Kyrie Irving, and Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
Nuggets star Jamal Murray has the answer on who the best duo actually is.
During an interview with Hoopshype, Jamal Murray stated that he and Nikola Jokic are in fact, the best duo in the NBA.
"If you want me to rank where I believe, I think we’re the best duo," Murray said. "I think they’re in a bigger market and people have more interest in LeBron and AD in LA, or what Dame and Giannis could be, or what Luka and Kyrie could do. If we’re talking about the best duos in getting the job done and how they play for each other and with each other, I think me and Jokic are undoubtedly number one."
While Jamal Murray may have never been an All-Star like his contemporaries have been, it's very clear he's an All-Star caliber player. When the playoffs start, Murray turns into a problem, and a player that others don't want to deal with.
Until otherwise stated, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are the best duo in the NBA. They're the championship favorites for a reason, the reigning champions for a reason, and are feared by the league for a reason.
